7th Grade Life Science
Monday: know and define phenotype, genotype, dominant and recessive traits.
Tuesday: Do a lab on how genes and traits are expressed.
Wednesday: Define punnett squares and know how they work with gene/trait expression. Homework: Punnett square worksheet.
Thursday: Define and know how ratio, probability, and percentage are related in gene/trait expression. Homework: RSG 4.2
Friday: Define gamete, egg, sperm, and fertilization. Know how they are related to sexual reproduction.

8th Grade Physical Science
Monday: Define conduction and how it transfers energy. Define conductors and insulators.
Tuesday: Define convection and know the process of the convection cycle.
Wednesday: Define and know the concept of radiation. Be able to give examples.
Thursday: Define insulation and know how an insulator works to keep you warm. Homework: RSG 4.3
Friday: Smartboard activity on keeping things warm and cold.
